Okay I recently bought a Logitech C500 for my computer
Windows 7
Nvidia Geforce 9800 GT
AMD phenom II black edition
2G RAM
The camra works fine with applications such as skype and yahoo messenger. It worked fine with the "Logitech webcam software" Which comes with the CD for about 2 hours, I didnt restart or unplug the camra at all and it randomly says "A webcam was not found or is not working properly." and am now unable to use my video effects. Ive reinstalled all the drivers and applications that came with the camra, and changed which USB port I was using with no success at fixing the problem. Ive searched google and could only find a handfull of people who had my problem. Sadly none of them ever solved the problem (or didnt post that they did in the forum). I'm sorry I dont have the serial number or product number for I threw away the box when cleaning :*( though I do recall it being a C500 and it was compatable with windows 7.
Please help, Thanks

Does this issue occur when the Logitech Webcam Software (LWS) 1.10.1113 (a.k.a. QuickCam 12.10.1113) is installed?
Thanks.

So, would you say you installed your new Windows 7 OS over Windows XP or did what is called a dirty OS upgrade?
Thanks for all of your input!
