Status option problem

Hi,

My status options only shows Log Out, there are no options like Available or Unavailable.

my status is always set to Unavailable. how can I change my status to Available or how can I get the options such as Available ( when it only shows LogOut) ?

I have added a Western Digital Media TV Player to my av system but I'm having trouble setting up my Harmony 890. I cannot control my Yamaha receiver, no matter what I do. I get a message sying that the remote can not control the receiver. The system sets up but I have to use my WD remote. I also do not have the full audio functions on my receiver.

Why isn't Logitech responding to my emails?

G500 - pointer problem - mouse software

Hello, this is my second G series mouse and though I like them they seem to breakdown quickly in a gaming environment.

My problem is this. Game is World of Warcraft screen resolution 1980x1080 22inch. When using the G500 software no matter how hard I try to find the perfect setting the pointer is all over the place and really annoying. When switching to the OS software its much better but I have to have all the settings maxed out to make it usable.

I have the current drivers.

Any suggestions?

Squeezebox Classic shuts off before it ever plays

I've had a Squeezebox Classic for about 3-years with minimal problems, but I haven't been able to get it to play at all in months. I finally have some time to try and troubleshoot.

When I plug it in the Logitech logo comes up, then it slides over to Squeezebox logo, then it will usually just go blank. No amount of pressing the buttons on the remote will ever bring it back to life. Just and an unplug and re-plug in cycles me back. It doesn't always stop at the same place. Sometimes it will start to search for the network, sometimes I will get into the setup process and enter a network value or two, but ultimately it just goes blank before ever playing a note of music.

Any suggestions?

Harmony One Screen Blank

My screen is DARK. So dark I can only see it with all the lights off at night. The screen is not cracked I just cant see anything. Is anyone else having this problem? My backlight works for all buttons but not screen.

C910 major problem (Windows XP x64)

Hi, I bought Logitech C910, and I'm using it on 8gb raid supported athlon6400+ with winxp x64. Asume that I'm not using any "messenger" software - just plain software that came with the camera (and downloaded updated software).

Camera does this:

1. when I try to change resolution ONLY from 1080p to 720p it freezes, whole software related to cam freees and it cannot be terminated from taskmgr, even with pskill; camera must be unplugged from usb and computer restarted, if I skip unplugging it, next time I boot it's worse.

2. motion detection software won't start, camera turns on it's led like it's working, everything related to webcam freezes and unplugging+restart.

3. I've managed to run motion detection software only when camera was set for not using it's mic, then I start motion detection and it's frozen, but I start the skype and on sound test screen I switch from my soundmax hd audio mic to c910stereo and it works, and that's the only way.

4. I tried newest drivers and software and drivers and software that came with camera - totally same; I'm a computer admin so I assume that lack of knowledge is not the issue

5. similar problems experienced from others on the net, but camera just freezes and usb unplug+pc restart must be performed, so it's not just me.

6. when any of those problems occur, pc does not recognise usb unplugging of the camera, it doesn't go "ding dong" ;)

That's it, my opinion is that there's something wrong with audio part of the drivers, but I tried to disable it's audio in devmgr and no effect.

Please advise.

Z-2300 Question

I was wondering if anyone has done this or wouldnt do this. I bought the Z-2300 system and was wondering if anyone had a way to hook up extra speakers to the system, and how it sounded, and what not?

Front right speaker : No sound anymore !

I have a 5.1 speaker set from Logitech that had been in place and working for over 2 years now, except since recently: the front right speaker produce no more sound (not even a "hummm''...)

Also tried to connect headphones on the remote control (wired) and I only get sound on the LEFT.

Rear speakers work both. Of course I have checked that wiring are in place correctly (although nothing ever move, everything is fixed in place. Made sure connection at back of PC aren't loose.

Could this be something with the sound card ? (SB Audigy) ? (Which I could try to replace, as I have a spare one...)

Anyone seen that before ?

OS: Win XP, Win Vista x64 and Win 7 x64 (same PC : behavior is the same on all 3 OSes) - except rear speakers work only under XP...

Any idea before I call my chiropractor ?...

Harmony One and Bell 6131 PVR

On the Bell PVR remote there is one button named PVR to view all recordings. Can I program a button on the Harmony One instead of having to go and use the device option and then having to use the DVR button on the touch screen?

- 4GB RAM

- about 200GB free disk space

- Windows XP with all patches (SP 3) and service packs.
- NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS, dated 09.07.2010, version 6.14.12.5896
- Dual monitor (one analog, the other digital)

Problem:
- Using the most recent Logitech drivers for the cam (downloaded today) with lvuvc.sys version 13.1.1021.0, causes an error in starting Windows. After the "load-screen", windows does not start, i.e. I cant log on, the two screens remain black.

What did I do:
- Renaming the "lvuvc.sys", avoiding to load it.

- Installed the cam with UVC drivers

This helped, but disabled all the functionality of the cam, which are desired!

Question:
- Is this problem known? (I did not found any corresponding thread)
- What do I have to do for using the shipped Logitech software and its features, i.e. is there a WORKING version of lvuvc.sys?

How to reset changes made by Help Button/Troubleshooting Steps - Harmony One

I have a Harmony One, and it was having trouble picking the right inputs on my projector from one activity to another. I used the help button on the remote to troubleshoot it issue, and now the remote thinks it needs to "fix" the inputs everytime. So now the remote just jumps past the correct input, and there is no obvious way to reset or erase the things that were "fixed' by the Help Button Troubleshooter.

Any help?

[Z-2300] Random Crackling

Hi all, just wondering if anyone could help me with this random crackling sound that has been happening recently with these speakers.

This problem arose about 3 days ago when I decided to plug my headphones into the volume control to listen to some tunes privately and I noticed that every so often, I'd hear a random crackle noise. Kind of like when you plug in your earbud/headphones into a mp3 player that's playing a song. Since then, the speakers themselves have started to make these noises every so often as well.

I'm not sure if this will be useful but I'm currently using a M3A79-T Deluxe motherboard, no dedicated sound card and the volume control is plugged into the motherboard.

So I upgraded to Setpoint 615. I have an HP Elitebook 8540W, Windows 7 32 bit. I have two mice MX and MV Revolutions.

Since the upgrade when using AutoCAD 2010, Excel 2007 in particular the mice act erratically. In particular in Excel I cannot click and select multiple lines or cells. In AutoCAD the mice interact with the volume controls of the computer! They reduce the volume and then mute the volume as I click and select different lines or blocks. Very frustrating and opens the door for all sorts of mistakes and unwanted changes.

How do you delete Setpoint 615 so I can get back to an earlier more stable version? Like 610 or 600. I tried Advanced Uninstaller with no luck. Do I delete the driver first? I'm not happy with 615

I give up! SB Touch & External HD Nightmare

I finally decided to register here so I can post my nightmare problems with the Touch. I've been lurking for a few weeks reading through other peoples problems with the SB Touch and external hard drives hoping a solution would come up that works for me... Well, it hasn't happened and I'm about ready to throw this thing in the trash. I've tried every suggestion that I can find from other threads with no luck. I've updated firmware to 7.5 and even tried the new 7.6.

First off a little background on me. Im by no means a techie but I can understand and perform basic programming. Just enough to get myself in trouble. I have spent DAYS of my time trying to understand and fix these bugs... My library is quite large, about 160GB and 40,000 songs. I'm sure this is part of the issue but nowhere in the logitech literature (that I can find) does it mention a limit on library size.

My problems began with a scanning issue that seems to be very common with these thing. It would hang on the artwork. I was able to get that fixed by deleting any artwork files larger than 300kb.At that poing I was happy thinking I could finally use my touch. Not the case.

The Touch would routinely lag or even lock up when trying to play music. It would then lose its connection to the HD. I've gone through 2 different hard drives (both with their own power supplies) with the same problem. Yes, I disabled the auto spin down function in the drive software.

I even went as far as to purchase third party software to organize, remove duplicates, and fix any songs that we're damaged. This process took three days to complete but in the end did a great job of cleaning op the library. I was sure this would fix the problem. Well, again, it didnt. Played music last night for about 30 mins and I noticed the artwork displayed both on the unit and squeezeplay was behind one song. Then, the unit lost comnection again to the external HD. I replaced the USB cable AGAIN this morning and still cannot access the HD.

All I want is to listen to my music library on my home stereo reliably. The SB Touch doesn't seen to be able to do that even though it is advertised as such. I'm at my wits end here and am close to returning it and looking at other options.

I feel like I'm a part of some R&D experiment with this new product that I have no time for. Again I just want it to work, not an unreasonable expectation for a $300 piece of equipment...

Logitech, please give me a reason not to return this thing to the store.

I decided to buy a high quality speakers and the z5500 was the first that crossed my mind, however the system is over 6years old now. Its a bit silly to pay over 300€ (which is more then few years ago) for 6years old system, when a new one can be released anytime. So I wonder if its worthed to buy the system now, or can you tell when in future will we see the next z-5500 system?

After I switch the library to my ReadyNAS Duo SqueezeBox Center, the Pandora is not in the menu anymore. It will appears again if the change the music source back to www.mysqueezebox.com. Now I notice the app is per server, but not per box. Am I right? If so, it seems strange. I though the app would be installed locally.

Harmony 670 - Problem with Samsung HL61A750A1F DLP not switching to correct input for activity

Problem when switching from Activities such as (Watch TV to Listen To Music). In "Troubleshooting" I am using Method 3 for Samsung TVs. My Samsung remote changes input by pressing the Source button once, then again to change the input, and finally the Enter button to confirm. I have programmed , all three of these commands through "Learn", into the setup, (Input Start, Input Next, Input Finish). Regardless, when switching Activities, it either goes to the wrong input, advances only to the next input, or goes to the TV input, which is for cable or antenna. I am only using three inputs on my Samsung, HDMI1 for my Dish Network DVR, HDMI2 for DVD playback from my Bose 3-2-1 Series III, and HDMI3/DVI for playback of music and video from my Apple TV. Can someone please advise as to what I am doing wrong, and what the correct settings to program are for the Harmony Remote. Thanks in advance for your help.

Quickcam Zoom driver problems

After installing this on my XP sp3 PC immediately had problems. The cam software freezes without warning, rquireing a reboot to fix. My PC now runs more slowly, and is prone to unexplained lock-ups.I have tried uninstalling the driver from 'add/remove software', but clicking on 'remove' there cause that to freeze too!

Orbitcam driver (new) craps out on Vista

Is there any way to download the previous version of the Orbit Cam driver? The new version which auto downloaded, and which, like a fool, I clicked "go" on, is now causing the BSOD almost 100% of the time.

The red "in use" light on the cam is on constantly, whether I'm actually using an application that accesses it or not.

The previous driver worked just great.
